🙋🏽‍♂️ Are you legally able to marry us?

  • Yes. I’m an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church (ULC) and legally authorized to perform weddings across Texas and most U.S. states. I provide legally binding ceremonies with or without a religious focus — it's completely up to you.

 

🏳️‍🌈 Do you perform LGBTQ+ weddings?

  • Absolutely. I believe in one true God — a God of love, and because He loves all, so do I. Whether you're gay, bi, trans, straight, or somewhere in between, if your love is real, it deserves to be honored.

 

💍 What types of ceremonies do you offer?

  • Traditional weddings (faith-based, spiritual)
  • Contemporary weddings (modern, personal)
  • Simple civil ceremonies
  • Vow renewals
  • Elopements ("Sign & Say" style)
  • You can also customize your ceremony with meaningful elements like:

🗓️ How far in advance do we need to book?

  • I require a minimum of 7 days' notice to properly plan and meet with you both.
  • Anything booked within 7 days is considered last-minute and may incur a rush fee ($25–$75) depending on time and complexity.

 

🤝 Do we have to meet with you beforehand?

  • Yes. I require a planning meeting with both partners before the wedding. You choose the location (or virtual). This ensures your ceremony reflects your unique love story and values.

 

📋 What’s the deposit and payment policy?

  • A 25% deposit is required to secure your date.
  • It’s applied toward your balance and shows commitment on both sides.
  • The remaining payment is due no later than 3 days before your ceremony or first session.

 

💸 Is the deposit refundable?

  • The deposit is typically non-refundable because it holds your date and time.
  • However, I understand life happens. If something comes up, I’ll always do my best to work with you on rescheduling or adjustments when possible.

 

⏰ Can we reschedule if needed?

  • Yes — you may reschedule once at no extra charge if you give at least 72 hours' notice.
  • Additional reschedules or last-minute changes may include a $25 admin fee.

 

💬 Are your counseling sessions licensed therapy?

  • No. I am not a licensed therapist.
  • My pre- and post-marital counseling sessions are spiritual in nature — focused on communication, emotional growth, and relationship alignment.

 

💬 Can we do counseling without booking a wedding?

  • Yes! Counseling is open to any couple, whether you’re engaged, already married, or just trying to build something stronger.
  • You don’t have to book a ceremony to work with me.

 

✍️ Do you offer custom vow writing?

  • Yes. I offer custom vow writing sessions for $150. We’ll meet to explore your love story, then I’ll help you create vows that are heartfelt, original, and deeply personal.

 

🚗 Do you travel outside of Houston?

  • Yes. Travel within 15 miles of Houston is included.
  • Beyond that, travel fees apply:
  • 16–30 miles: $15
  • 31–50 miles: $30
  • Over 50 miles: Custom quote (may include lodging)
